about Er. Server

Hey all,
I just wanted to give you guys a usefull tip which i really recommend for my server, and also on jiazu server this is enabled:

if you change the following in your rune.ini you will be able to download extremely fast on our servers:

[Engine.Player]
ConfiguredInternetSpeed=20000
ConfiguredLanSpeed=20000

Change the ConfiguredInternetSpeed to:

[Engine.Player]
ConfiguredInternetSpeed=500000
ConfiguredLanSpeed=20000

This means, in normal english, that the speed of clients (Players like you) goes up to 500kb/sec.

We, Er, and jiazu have a server with a MaxClientRate of 500000, which makes it possible on our servers.

I hope you guys get me, and wanna change it, so we can run some rare maps once without 10 minutes of downloading!

Ugh, this will probably work but its not recommended for the performance as far as I know... I had some tests with it a few years ago and the server became much more instable...

as long as my server has been running, it had this clientrate..
and I didnt have any problems with it yet. the server host has enough bandwidth to keep this stable. as long as not 10 players do it on the same time, i guess its fine to me!

And what the heck, that would be my problem, not yours, you are just downloading faster

Demention is probably refering to players in the server that will notice the instabile server by lag or spikes.

well i'm sure the server can handle it without getting worse.
so just give it a try?

I wont - im having 59.78 Mbps speed downloading and its going fast enough
